Police officers in Ashanti South have killed two suspected armed robbers. The robbers were part of a group operating on the Obuasi Dunkwa Highway.
The Ashanti South Police Command also arrested several other suspected members of the robbery gang. The arrests happened during an operation targeting the criminals.
During the operation, police seized a Toyota Saloon car. They also recovered guns and ammunition from the suspects.
The Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah, spoke about the incident. He provided details at a media briefing. The briefing took place in Bekwai.
