Ashanti South Police shot and killed two suspected armed robbers. This happened along the highway connecting Obuasi and Dunkwa.

The incident occurred as police were engaged in operations against a gang of robbers. The police command confirmed these events.

During the same operation, police arrested other suspects. These individuals are believed to be members of the same group.

Authorities also seized a Toyota saloon car. Guns and ammunition were found and secured.

The Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah, spoke about the incident. He provided details at a media briefing. The briefing took place in Bekwai.
