Police in Ashanti South have shot and killed two suspected armed robbers. The robbers were part of a gang causing trouble on the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.

During the operation, the police also managed to arrest other suspected members of the gang. This action aimed to stop their criminal activities on the road.

Authorities reported seizing a Toyota saloon car that was likely used by the robbers. They also recovered firearms and ammunition from the suspects.

The Ashanti South Police Command stated that the operation was successful in disrupting a criminal network.
