Ashanti South Police have killed two suspected armed robbers. The incident occurred along the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.

The police command also arrested other individuals believed to be part of the robbery gang. This action followed a period of heightened criminal activity in the area.

During the operation, law enforcement officers recovered a Toyota saloon car. They also seized guns and ammunition from the suspects.

Police stated that the action was taken to ensure public safety and curb armed robbery on major routes.

The Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah, briefed the media. The briefing took place in Bekwai.

DCOP Nyaabah confirmed the details of the operation. He thanked his officers for their bravery and effective crime fighting.
