Police in the Ashanti South region have killed two men they say were armed robbers. The men were part of a group operating on the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.
During the operation, police also arrested some other suspects. This action was taken by the Ashanti South Police Command.
Authorities recovered a Toyota saloon car during the arrests. Guns and ammunition were also seized by the police.
The Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah, shared details of the incident. He spoke at a media briefing held in Bekwai.
