The Ashaiman Divisional Police Command has arrested three individuals suspected of armed robbery.
These arrests followed a series of swift police operations. The suspects are believed to be involved in recent robberies in the Ashaiman area.
During the operations, police recovered two pistols. A machete was also found with the suspects.
Several mobile phones that were reported stolen were also recovered. These items are being processed as evidence.
The Ghana Police Service stated that the suspects are currently in custody. They will assist police with ongoing investigations.
Further police action is expected as investigators work to gather more information. The recovered items will be examined.
