Police in Ashaiman have apprehended a 32-year-old man. He is accused of illegally possessing firearms.
The arrest happened during a routine night patrol. Officers conducted a search after apprehending the suspect.
During the search of his residence, two unregistered pistols were discovered. Ammunition was also found at the scene.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed the suspect is currently in custody. Further investigations are underway.
