Armed robbers attacked a forex bureau in the Adum area of Kumasi on Tuesday evening. The criminals forced their way into the business and took cash.
During the robbery, the suspects fired shots into the air. This was to scare people who might have witnessed the crime.
The robbers then made their escape from the scene. They carried with them an amount of money that has not yet been confirmed.
The Ghana Police Service has been notified and is now investigating the incident. Officers are working to identify and apprehend the suspects.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the attack. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact amount stolen.
