Suspected political thugs disrupted an event for the African Democratic Congress ADC in Bakassi Local Government Area. The incident happened on Saturday.
The thugs are believed to be supporters of the All Progressives Congress APC. They reportedly arrived at the venue for the opening of the ADC secretariat.
Witnesses reported that the attackers dispersed supporters of the opposition party. The attackers also destroyed property belonging to the ADC.
