Police have arrested an alleged land guard named Saviour Kojo Ekpe in Abokobi. He is accused of causing fear and distress among residents in the area. The arrest was made by a team of police officers.
During a search of Ekpe’s room, police discovered several weapons and ammunition. These included four pump-action guns.
Also found were 101 rounds of AA/BB live ammunition. Authorities also recovered a jack knife from the scene.
A Glock pistol made in Austria was among the items seized. Police also found 17.9mm live ammunition in the room.
The operation involved a search conducted by the police team. Ekpe is identified as being 45 years old.
