Police forces in Accra have apprehended five individuals. They are suspected of being part of an armed robbery group.
The arrests were made during a special police operation conducted early this morning.
Authorities reported that the operation took place in the Accra area.
During the raid, police recovered items that are believed to be stolen goods.
They also found weapons at the location where the suspects were hiding.
The Ghana Police Service stated that investigations into the syndicate are ongoing.
The suspects will face charges related to armed robbery.
