A child has died after being admitted to the Police Hospital following a road accident. The pupil was receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit.
The accident occurred on the Dzorwulu Accra Mall highway. Five children were initially treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
Assistant Divisional Officer I Alex King Nartey of the Ghana National Fire Service confirmed the child's death. He extended sympathy to the family of the deceased.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still being investigated by authorities.
