The Ghana Police Service will soon use an automated system to catch drivers who speed.
This new technology will send electronic tickets to motorists breaking the speed limit.
The goal is to make roads safer and reduce the number of accidents across the country.
ACP Alexander Kwaku Obeng, who leads Research, Education and Training at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), shared this plan.
He explained that the system is part of efforts to improve road safety.
The police believe this will encourage drivers to follow speed limits more closely.
More details about the system's rollout are expected soon.
