A coconut seller named Prince Nyame has been fined GH¢360. The Accra Metropolitan Assembly Sanitation Court ordered the fine.

Nyame was found guilty of dumping coconut husks into a public drain. The drain is located behind Accra Academy at Bubuashie.

The court convicted Nyame on Tuesday, July 25, 2026. His actions broke the AMA 2017 Sanitation By-laws.

The fine was imposed by the court. This action aims to keep public drains clear and prevent flooding.
