Accra Metropolitan Police conducted an operation to enforce traffic laws. More than 50 motorbikes were impounded during this effort.
The motorbikes were seized for various traffic offenses. These included riding without proper licenses and failing to wear helmets.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the Ghana Police Service. Their goal is to improve road safety and reduce accidents within Accra.
Authorities stated that the enforcement aims to ensure all road users comply with traffic regulations.
The impounded motorbikes will be held until owners fulfill the legal requirements to reclaim them.
Further enforcement actions are expected to continue in the city.
