Twenty-eight drivers have been fined by the Kasoa Akweley District Court. Each driver paid GH¢540.

The fines were for using unauthorized emergency lights. This included "folk" lights on their vehicles.

The Kasoa Motor Traffic and Transport Department conducted an enforcement operation. This happened along the Kasoa-Winneba road.

The operation was led by the MTTD Commander. It targeted drivers using illegal lighting equipment.

The court convicted the drivers after the operation. This action aims to improve road safety.

Using unauthorized lights can be dangerous. It can confuse other drivers, especially at night.

The Ghana Police Service continues to enforce traffic laws. This ensures the safety of all road users.
