Eighteen people were killed in the Kyiv region after Russia launched ballistic missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force reported a severe shortage of interceptor missiles.

This lack of missiles meant that none of the 23 ballistic missiles fired on Sunday night were intercepted.

Ukrainian officials stated the country faces a serious shortage of these crucial defensive weapons.
