The attack occurred on a position manned by Ghanaian troops under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon UNIFIL.
Fighting has intensified between the Israeli Defense Forces and the Lebanese group Hezbollah in the region.
In addition to the two critically injured soldiers one other peacekeeper sustained trauma from the strike.
The Ghana Armed Forces have acknowledged the incident. They are providing support to the affected soldiers.
