Chiefs and residents of the Issa Traditional Area are unhappy. They want a new Ghana Education Service district office complex moved back to their area.

The construction was originally planned for Issa. It was then relocated to Daffiama by the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council.

Traditional leaders from Issa have formally petitioned against this move. They want the decision reversed immediately.

The petition accuses the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council of wrongdoing.

The exact reasons for the relocation have not been made public by the regional council.

This situation has caused tension in the DBI District.

The Ghana Education Service has not yet commented on the petition.

Officials are expected to review the concerns raised by the Issa Traditional Area leaders.
