South African authorities have promised to deal with people involved in recent xenophobic attacks.

This assurance was given to Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Benjamin Kofi Quashie.

Mr. Quashie confirmed that individuals responsible for these attacks have been identified by South African officials.

He added that these officials have pledged to take decisive action against those found guilty.

The High Commissioner did not provide specific details about the nature of the planned actions.

The move is expected to offer some reassurance to Ghanaian citizens living in South Africa.
