The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, stated that policies ensuring food security are very important for Ghana. He explained that if food security is weakened, it could create problems for the country.
Dr Amoakohene made these remarks during a visit from the Chief Executive Officer of the National Food Buffer Stock Company.
He emphasized that food security policies are key to maintaining peace and safety across Ghana.
The Minister believes that these policies are fundamental to the nation's stability.
