Walid Regragui has left his position as head coach of the Morocco national football team. The team made history under his leadership.
Regragui guided the Atlas Lions to the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup finals. This marked the first time an African team reached this stage of the tournament.
Mohamed Ouahbi, aged 49, has now stepped up. He will lead the team as the new head coach.
Regragui's departure comes less than four months before the next World Cup finals commence.
