The Dassault Falcon 900 presidential jet is in good condition. Former Deputy Defence Minister Kofi Amankwaa-Manu confirmed this.
The aircraft recently returned to Ghana. It had been in France for servicing.
Mr. Amankwaa-Manu spoke about the jet on Adom FM. He addressed the government's plans to buy a new aircraft.
He explained the current jet was sent for planned maintenance.
This servicing ensures the aircraft remains safe for use.
The Ministry of Defence oversees the presidential fleet.
