The chief spoke to the MPs on Sunday. The Minority Caucus started a tour of cocoa-producing areas in the Ashanti Region.
The MPs are visiting farming communities for a week. Their goal is to understand the challenges faced by cocoa farmers.
The Minority Caucus is led by the Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
