Richard Ahiagbah, who leads communications for the New Patriotic Party NPP, has stated that Ghanaians are now less well-off since the National Democratic Congress NDC took power. He made this statement on his X page.

Ahiagbah accused the NDC of lying to voters to win the 2024 general elections. He did not provide specific details of other promises made by the NDC.

The NPP communications director also mentioned the presidential jet as an example of NDC deception. He claimed the NDC had stated the jet was in perfect working order.

Ahiagbah suggested that the current state of affairs for Ghanaians demonstrates the NDC’s failure. He believes the country has regressed under their leadership.

His comments come as part of ongoing political discourse between the two major parties in Ghana.
