NPP member Awal Mohammed has challenged claims that Ghana’s economy is stable. He spoke on the AM Show about recent global events affecting the country.

Mohammed believes these international occurrences have exposed vulnerabilities in the Ghanaian economy. He argued it is illogical for a strong economy to be greatly affected by distant situations.

He stated that the government’s description of economic strength is contradicted by its susceptibility to external factors.

Mohammed did not provide specific details on which global events or economic vulnerabilities he was referring to.
