A member of the New Patriotic Party, Awal Mohammed, has raised concerns about the government’s statements regarding the economy’s stability. He believes recent international events have highlighted the economy’s vulnerabilities.

Mohammed argued that it is illogical for an economy described as stable to be severely impacted by events happening far away. He voiced these opinions during a discussion on the AM Show.

He suggested that the government’s portrayal of economic resilience is contradicted by its susceptibility to external shocks. The NPP member questioned the consistency of these claims.
