Richard Ahiagbah, Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that the current challenges faced by workers in Ghana reveal the true state of the economy.
He observed that the government has been promoting positive economic indicators. These include claims of single-digit inflation.
Ahiagbah pointed out that these official statements contrast sharply with the daily struggles of Ghanaian workers. He believes worker demands will expose any inaccuracies in government economic reports.
The NPP communications director suggested that the everyday experiences of people earning a living are a more honest reflection of economic reality than official figures.
