Ghana's Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has stated that he has not received any formal resignation letter from Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz. This statement addresses the coach's recent announcement on social media regarding his departure from the team.

Queiroz, who is 73 years old, had been leading the Ghana national football team under a short-term contract. He took over the coaching position following the departure of Otto Addo.

The Minister confirmed that despite Queiroz's public declaration of leaving his role, the official communication has not yet reached the ministry. Further steps will be taken once official notification is received.
