A National Democratic Congress (NDC) official has proposed selling Ghana's presidential jet. Dela Edem stated that the funds from this sale should be used to support development projects across the country.

Edem voiced this opinion on Adom FM. He suggested this action should be taken before the government proceeds with acquiring a new presidential aircraft.

The current presidential aircraft is a Dassault Falcon 900. It was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance checks.

The NDC official believes this is a necessary step for economic progress. He wants the government to prioritize national needs over the acquisition of new assets.

The specific amount expected from the sale of the presidential jet has not been disclosed. Further details on the proposed development projects are also awaited.
