A National Democratic Congress communicator named Dela Edem has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet.

Edem stated that the money raised from selling the plane should be used for important national development projects.

He made these remarks on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.

Edem suggested this action should happen before the government considers buying a new aircraft.

The current presidential jet is a Dassault Falcon 900.

This aircraft was recently sent to France for its annual servicing.
