Dela Edem, a representative for the National Democratic Congress, has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet.
Edem suggested that the funds from selling the aircraft could be used to support important development projects across the country.
He believes this action should be taken before discussions about acquiring a new presidential jet. The current jet is a Dassault Falcon 900.
This aircraft was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance, according to Edem.
