Dela Edem, who speaks for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet. He believes the money raised could help with development projects across the country.

Edem shared his views on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program. He specifically mentioned the Dassault Falcon 900 jet. This aircraft was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.

The NDC official argued that selling the jet would be a responsible financial decision. The funds could then be redirected to areas needing urgent support and improvement.

He suggested this action should happen before any consideration is given to acquiring a new presidential aircraft. This highlights a focus on current needs over future acquisitions.

The proposal comes amid ongoing discussions about government spending and resource allocation. The idea aims to prioritize development initiatives.
