A National Democratic Congress NDC communicator, Dela Edem, has asked the government to sell Ghana's presidential jet.
He believes the money from the sale should be used to support national development projects.
Edem made these remarks on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.
He added that this should happen before the country considers buying a new aircraft.
Ghana's current presidential jet is a Dassault Falcon 900.
The aircraft was recently sent to France for annual maintenance.
