A communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet.
Dela Edem said the money from selling the aircraft should be used for national development projects.
He made these remarks on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.
Edem suggested this action should happen before the government considers acquiring a new jet.
Ghana's current presidential jet is a Dassault Falcon 900.
The aircraft was recently sent to France for its scheduled annual maintenance.
