A communicator for the National Democratic Congress, Dela Edem, has called for the sale of Ghana's presidential jet. He voiced this opinion on Adom FM.
Edem believes the proceeds from selling the Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft should be invested in national development initiatives.
He stated that this should happen before the government considers acquiring a new presidential jet.
The current presidential jet was recently sent to France for its annual maintenance.
The proposal aims to redirect funds from luxury government assets towards improving public services and infrastructure.
