A communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Edem, has urged the government to sell the country's presidential jet.
He stated that the money raised from the sale should be used to support national development projects.
Edem made these remarks during a discussion on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program.
He added that this action should happen before the government considers acquiring a new aircraft.
The current presidential aircraft, a Dassault Falcon 900, was recently sent to France for its yearly maintenance checks.
The proposal aims to redirect funds from presidential assets towards public benefit initiatives.
