Dela Edem, a communicator for the National Democratic Congress, has called for the sale of Ghana’s current presidential jet.

He suggested that the money earned from selling the aircraft should be invested in national development projects.

Edem made these remarks while speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem program.

He noted that the Dassault Falcon 900 jet recently underwent annual maintenance in France.

The proposal comes as the government considers acquiring a new presidential aircraft.

Edem believes using the proceeds from the existing jet’s sale would offer immediate benefits to the country.
