Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, has called for international action on xenophobic attacks. He believes the African Union must address the situation in South Africa.

Dafeamekpor stated that he is writing to the speaker of Parliament about the matter. He wants Ghana to engage with the African Union on this issue.

He specifically called for the African Union to dispatch a fact-finding mission to South Africa without delay. This mission would investigate the reported xenophobic attacks.
