Morocco has a new football coach. Walid Regragui is no longer leading the national team. He was the head coach for less than four months before the upcoming World Cup games. Regragui made history by leading the Atlas Lions to the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 tournament. This made them the first African team to reach that stage.
Mohamed Ouahbi, 49 years old, will now take charge. He was previously part of the coaching staff. Ouahbi has stepped up into the head coach position.
