The Deputy Managing Director of Metro Mass Transit, Haruna Apaw-Wiredu, has requested assistance from security agencies. He wants help to recover the Opera Square transport yard in Accra.
Metro Mass Transit plans to use this space for an upcoming fleet of 300 buses. These new buses are expected to arrive soon.
Mr. Apaw-Wiredu stated that the company faces difficulties in preparing the new buses without access to the yard.
He made the appeal while speaking to reporters about the company's operational needs.
