Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader in Ghana's Parliament, has voiced his dissatisfaction. He claims the Minority caucus is being systematically excluded from parliamentary delegations. This exclusion affects assignments to bodies like the Pan-African Parliament and the ECOWAS Parliament.

Afenyo-Markin spoke at the Crystal Ball Series event. He highlighted that this situation goes against established practices for forming such delegations. He suggested a deliberate effort to sideline the Minority members.

The Minority Leader stated that established formulas for constituting these delegations are not being followed. He believes this is a deliberate action.

This exclusion, he indicated, impacts Ghana's broader representation in regional and continental parliamentary forums. It raises questions about inclusivity in foreign policy engagement.
