A group from Parliament, known as the Minority Caucus, has started a visit to the Ashanti Region. The trip will last for five days.

Their first engagement was a meeting with the traditional leader of Offinso, Nana Dwamena Akenten II. This meeting is part of their effort to listen to cocoa farmers.

The main topic of discussion is the recent decrease in the prices paid for cocoa. Farmers have expressed worries about this situation.

The delegation is being led by the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri.
