The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has welcomed the return of peace to the Sunyani Traditional Area.
Minister Ibrahim called the peace restoration a major step toward renewed development and investment for the municipality.
He made these remarks during a courtesy call at his office. The Sunyani Traditional Council paid the visit on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
The Minister emphasized the importance of peace for attracting new investments.
