The Savannah Regional Minister, Salisu Be-Awuribe, visited several communities in Sawla District. This visit followed recent attacks on Fulbe residents in the Gbeniyiri area. The Minister chairs the Regional Security Council.

Mr. Be-Awuribe began his visit with a meeting. He paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Kong Traditional Area, Seidu Adamu Jeduah Jinkurgi.

The purpose of the visit was to address rising tensions. The attacks have caused concern among residents and authorities.

The Regional Security Council is working to ensure peace. They aim to prevent further violence and protect all communities.
