Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned an attack on a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon UNIFIL base.
The attack occurred in southern Lebanon and resulted in injuries to several peacekeepers.
In a statement released on March 7, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry described the incident as a serious violation of international law.
The statement also affirmed Lebanon's commitment to protecting UN peacekeeping missions operating within its borders.
The ministry stressed the importance of upholding international humanitarian law and ensuring the safety of all personnel involved in peacekeeping efforts.
