The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, has honoured Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
A new research facility has been named after him. It is the Infrastructure Research Hub at the Department of Planning.
The facility is now known as the Asenso-Boakye facility. This honour recognizes his work in development planning.
He has also contributed to infrastructure provision in Ghana. The university made the announcement on March 31, 2026.
