The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has established a new research center. It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub.

This hub is located within the universitys Department of Planning. Its purpose is to focus on studies related to infrastructure development.

KNUST has decided to name this facility the Asenso-Boakye Infrastructure Research Hub. This naming recognizes Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Member of Parliament for Bantama.

The university cited his contributions to development planning and infrastructure provision in Ghana. These contributions are seen as significant and noteworthy.

The official naming highlights the importance of research in advancing national infrastructure goals. It also acknowledges individuals who have played a key role in this sector.
