Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has opened a new Infrastructure Research Hub. It is located in the Department of Planning.
The university decided to name the hub. They are honoring Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
This naming is a recognition of his contributions. He has helped a lot with development planning. He has also helped with providing infrastructure in Ghana.
The university stated that the hub will focus on important research. This research will guide future infrastructure projects.
Francis Asenso-Boakye previously served as Deputy Minister for Works and Housing.
The hub aims to support policy making. It will be a place for experts to share knowledge.
