The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has established a new research hub. This hub will focus on infrastructure research.

It is located within the Department of Planning at KNUST. The facility is named the Asenso-Boakye Infrastructure Research Hub.

This naming honors Francis Asenso-Boakye, who is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.

The university recognized his significant contributions to development planning. It also acknowledged his role in infrastructure provision across Ghana.

The Asenso-Boakye Infrastructure Research Hub aims to advance knowledge in infrastructure development.

Its work is expected to support future planning and development projects in the country.
